simple indian hairstyle

This is a simple indian hairstyle, which is not too modern or complex and not too old. This hairstyle is perfect for any formal as well as casual occasions. If you have medium hair then you can try out this hairstyle. If you have long straight air then you can cut a little of and then curl the edges which will result in this style. The curls in this style is not too complex it is very simple and the top part is kept straight. This hairstyle is perfect if you have round or oval face shape and most of the other face shapes will match with this hairstyle.

2. Double French Braid Ponytail

This is a nice hairstyle which can be used in any formal functions as well as casual functions. Not only that you can use this hairstyle to your office. No matter what occasion it is, this style will make you cute. This is not a easy hairstyle so we provide a short tutorial, which will help you to attain this style:

  • The first step is to prep your washed, dried hair with some texturizing spray.
  • Now you need to just part your hair slightly off center.
  • On the left side, pick up a 3 inch section of hair and start French braiding(If you don’t know how to, then you can have a look in YouTube to get a perfect video).
  • Once you have reached the back of your head, secure the French braid with bobby pins.
  • Repeat these same steps in the right side also.
  • Now you need to gather all your hair into a ponytail at the back of your head, remove the bobby pins holding the French braids, and tie the ponytail with a hair elastic.
  • Finish this style off the by spritzing on some sea salt spray to your ponytail and scrunching it up with your hands. This step will help you to be a little stylish, you can also skip this step if you wish too.

3. Classic Fishtail Braid

You can observe this hairstyle in schools, most of the school girls in southern India tries out this style. But the main problem of this hairstyle is that, this hairstyle is suitable only if you have long straight hair. If you have curly hair then you may not be impressive in this style. Gather all the hair in the front and the sides to the back and then make a fishtail braid in the back. You can also find some video articles about this style in YouTube.

4. Messy Pulled Back Fishtail Braid

This is a attractive hairstyle but I personally wish that the fishtail in the back was not needed. The hair in the sides and the front is brought to the back and then created a messy look followed by a fish tail. You can avoid the fish tail if you wish to, and then keep the hair simple. Instead of the simple flower you can keep something else. However this style will need a straight hair to try this style. However you want to make it wavy when trying this style.

5. Ringlet Bun With Gajra

Another traditional looking hairstyle for Indian women. It is really a traditional hairstyle but just have some twist. The bun in the back is not traditional one, in this style the bun contains curled hair. It is the only difference. If you wish to be more stylish then you can dye the hair and also apply some products to get a finished look.

6. Diffused Curls With Headband

This simple indian hairstyle will make you look a little modern women. If you have natural curled hair then this is one of the best hairstyle in which you can look more stylish. You may also require thick hair but without thick hair this will look okay but thick hair will make you a little trendy in this hairstyle. You just need short hair to look nice in this hairstyle, If you have medium length hair then your are gonna rock in this style.

7. The Sleek/Messy Ponytail

A clean style, that’s what I can say about this hairstyle. Ponytail is such a famous style of modern girls. There are many different versions of ponytail, this is just one of them. The hair from the front and the side are brought to back and then made a ponytail. The  ponytail is not so clean, it is kept messy, but it is according to your wish. You can make it clean if you wish to, you can make the ends of the hair can be converted into wavy. This hairstyle will match almost all face shapes. However if you have oval face shape then you will look the best in this style.

8. Bejeweled Pulled Back Braids

Wavy hair is the best option for women who have round like face shape and thick hair. Here also the same have done. This hairstyle will fit with traditional Indian dresses and also Western gown. This is simple hairstyle to try, it just has 2 simple braids pulled back and accessorized with a bejeweled center clip to make it party-ready. I don’t think hairstyle will be perfect for formal occasions but for any casual occasion this is okay.

9. Curls With A Floral Centerpiece

Another simple indian hairstyle to try. Here also the hair is wavy. If you have really nice straight hair then this is the best style to try. You can decide how the style should be. You will have some idea how your hairstyle will look. To get the look in the back as you see in the image above, you need to do is pin on some flowers in a straight line after pinning back some hair to give off the impression.

10. Sea Salt Curls

Yep, Alia shows you how nice she looks in this curls. The curls have started from the top to the end. However I personally suggest you to try this style only if you have sort or medium hair. If you hair is 2 – 4 inches then you can drop this style, there are many other simple indian hairstyle for you.

11. Messy Ponytail

Shraddha Kapoor’s simple messy hairstyle can be achieved by any girl who have a little long and thick hair. You can make the hair in the back wavy. You can leave some section of hair in the front and also in the sides which will give you a little more attractive hairstyle. Using dye in the section will also make you a little more stylish. This hairstyle is best for any girl if you have round or oval face shape. The main benefit of this hairstyle is that you can use this hairstyle in any formal and casual hairstyle.

12. Twisted Back Waves

Here also waves are the key part of this hairstyle. You just need to make your hair nice and curly in the back and you need to gather whole hair in the back. You can have some designs in the back. However it is your wish how the style should look. You can make it in your way. The main benefit is that this will match women with any face shape. However if you have oval face shape then it will match you a little more. You will also have a little long hair, it need not be so long but it should be a little long.

13. Curls With A Bejeweled Headband

Here also the hair is wavy, it is almost so curly.  Here the hair is just kept simply to the sides from the front. The back section is also brought to the sides. If you have good length hair then this is the best choice. The hair in the other part can be kept very simple (as natural). This style will be good for any women with any face shape, but if you have oval or round face shape then it will be more stylish. You can also apply dye, make sure  you apply some light colors. It is always better to color some light colors if you have long hair.
